R&D Fields Eligible for R&D Tax Credits (SR&ED)
and IRAP Funding
There is no definitive list of eligible fields of science
and / or technology. However the social sciences and humanities
are definitely excluded. Even so, if work conducted in those
areas is in support of a core advance in a field of science
and / or technology, it is the latter that can qualify the
project and the related effort for R&D tax credits. TSGI
has extensive experience in considering such issues in the
context of these R&D programs.

Importance of R&D Field
Whether your project falls neatly into one of the above-noted
list is not a definitive indicator of whether your R&D
project is eligible under either the SR&ED or IRAP programs.
How your project meets the
is the critical question – we’ll pair our extensive experience
with R&D tax credits with your niche-knowledge to recoup
as much of your hard-fought investment as possible.
